Bravo is my "little buddy". He is a great dog who has a wonderful sensitive side. Bravo is a possible carrier of blue. He is a littermate to Ice.

Bravo was handled in the classes by Reggie Moorehead of Brookridge Australian Shepherds in Paw River, North Carolina. He finished in October 2001. Bravo occasionally returns to the breed ring as a special or veteran. Bravo has debuted in UKC breed ring. On his first day out he won a Herding Group 4!

During his time away from the breed ring he has been training in rally and formal obedience. We debuted in AKC in Atlanta in August 2003. He qualified in his first trial! He earned his CD 6 shows later with 2 second places along the way. We are now training for Open A in AKC.

Bravo and I decided to give UKC a whirl in March 2004. Not only did he qualify in our first trial but we placed first in Novice A with a score of 186.5! He currently has 1 leg towards his U-CD title.

He debuted in Rally Obedience in April 2005. He earned a 95, 97, and 96 in 3 consecutive outtings earning his RN title. Bravo and I took some time off, but we returned to the rally ring in 2007. In April 2007 he continued his streak with 2 more qualifying runs and earned his first and second advanced legs. He also earned another 96 along the way. His qualifying winning streak continued in May and he earned his 3rd advanced leg with a score of 91. The same weekend he also earned his excellent rally title with 3 consecutive wualifying runs and a score of 92 along the way.

Playing the "gonna get your tail game" while we wait our turn

Bravo is a part of our puppy socializing here. He and Chip begin playing with them when they are 3-4 weeks old. He is very gentle with them while they pull his tail and tug on his fur. What a great guy!!

Bravo is a member of a local pet therapy group, Best Friends Pet Therapy. He is a very gentle soul with a big heart. The residents he visits love him. I am very tickled with how well he adjusts to all the different people and personalities he comes across. He is a loving dog to everyone. He also joins his brother Ice in weekly visits to a local elementary school to help 3-5 year olds work on their speech and fine/gross motor skills.

Bravo is also a member of the HOPE Animal Assisted Crisis Response Team. We are really excited about this!!!!
