"Chance-man" is a beautiful dark chocolate with a compact build. Chance is very serious natured dog who is alays looking for work. I knew he was staying when my trainer said, "You better keep this guy," when at 5 months old and without any formal training, he worked 3 schooling sheep out of a corner. He was so proud. He earned a spot in the car for our weekly treks to Carol's after that. He is now working hard in the top herding focus spot and showing great promise. He is starting to square flank himself when getting back and quickening his stop commands. He is very brave and has yet to back down to a sheep that tries to intimidate him.

Though he had only been training for a few months he debuted in the Pre-Trial class in April 2006 and earned his PT title. In July 2006 he passed his AHBA Junior Herdig Dog tests with goods in every category under Debbie Johnson and Mary Alice Theriot. In October 2006 he earned his HTADIs in two consecutive shows under Wink Mason and Susan Rhodes. He tied for 4th both days ending up with a 5th and 6th place.

I plan to trial with him in AKC, ASCA, AHBA and USBCHA .
