Risk lives in Minn. with the Hennen family. She is training for flyball, agility, and herding. She debuted in herding in June 2006. She earned her PT title with two great test performances. In June 2007 Risk entered her first AKC herding trials. She walked away with a second place (behind her trainer) and a first place win and 2 beautiful qualifying runs of 84 and 89.5 in Started A. On Sunday she even walked away with High in Trial on sheep!!!! Way to go!!!
Risk debuted in NADAC agility in July 2006. She has a clean sweep in Touch N Go and Tunnelers with 2 perfect qualifying runs. She placed 2nd in Touch N Go and 1st in Tunnelers. What a way to start!! Her success has continued with another 1st place and qualifying run in Touch N Go! In October she finished her Touch N Go title with another 2nd place. She also picked up a Novice Regular qualifying run placing 3rd and another Novice Tunnelers qualifying run placing 2nd.
In November 2006 she ran her first jumpers run and placed 5th. She also placed 4th in both of her first tunnelers and standard runs. She continued to do even better and placed first in tunnelers and standard with qualifying scores. She finished her successed by qualifying in both her regular runs with 3rd and 2nd placements.. She Q'd in her tunnelers run and placed 5th. She debuted in weaves and not only qualified she placed first and had a DRI of 100. By the end of the weekend she earned her Novice Regular and Tunnelers titles. What a way to celebrate her 2nd birthday!!
Risk debuted in AKC agility in June 2007. She competes in the 16" class and gives those Shelties a run for the money!! Her NADAC winning streak followed her over. She earned 3 qualifying ribbons over the weekend with 3 first place wins!!! Risk earned her NAJ at the 2007 Border Collie National Speciality with 2 first places!!
