The name Yin-Yang and Zen come from the Taoism and Buddhism religions. Yin-Yang is a Taoism concept which describes two primal opposing but complementary principles said to be found in all non-static objects and processes in the universe. It can be generalized to be a balance of the 4 elements in the world- fire, earth, wind, and water. Zen comes from an aspect of Buddhism that places great importance on moment-by-moment awareness and 'seeing deeply into the nature of things' by direct experience. Hence, Zen is the balance of all my dogs and incorporates the theme in the elements I have in the names Fire and Ice.

Zen is a beautiful blue merle from very nice working and performance lines. She is expected to add a nice amount of eye and drive to our program once she grows up. For now she is having a good time playing and getting to know everyone. She is already showing a strong herding desire. Her favorite activity is trying to herd Chance and Fire. She is very sweet and a little cuddle bug. She is already learning all the rules. She is beginning puppy obedience training and knows sit, down, spin, bow, and paw. We are looking forward to her competing in herding, rally, and the breed ring.
Zen has already had her first heat cycle but will not be bred at this time. She is still waiting on health clearnances, performance results, and needs more time to mature. She is a very silly and inmature young lady at this time.

No, this is my ball. I stole it fair and square from you!
